[Letter] Nov.2,1886,Smith College [to F.H. Giddings]
Nov. 2, 1886, Smith College.
Dear Mr. Giddings,
When you
come for our conference
please come expecting to
stay for tea, and for the
night if you can. In short
come as early and stay as
late as possible. Perhaps
I can show you so much
of Northampton that you
will see the necessity of
moving to that town. I
need not say I appreciate
your very kind notice of
my book in Work and Wages.
I take courage from it.
I want to tell you my plan
for continuing the work.
Yours Very Truly,
J. B. Clark
