[Letter] Dec.30,1886 [to F.H. Giddings] [Enclosed note from Clark to Giddings on a letter from Richmond Mayo-Smith to Clark]
Dec. 30, 1886, n.p. [Enclosed note from Clark to Giddings
on a letter from Richmond Mayo-Smith to Clark]
My Dear Prof. Clark:
I was called West
suddenly by the illness of my father
and your letter of the 22nd inst lay
at the college and was not forwarded
to me until today. Take the extra
time that you wish by all means
and when the papers are ready will
you kindly send them direct to
the managing editor Prof. Munroe
Smith, Columbia College.
Yours Very Truly
Richmond M. Smith
Dear Mr. Giddings,
Perhaps I can save time
for us both, and labor for you, if I read
my paper to you. Could I see you in Holyoke
for that purpose on some day of next week,
say Thurs. P.M.? I should not want to detain
you after hours for the purpose. Let me know
what hour will be most convenient.
Yours Very Truly,
J. B. Clark
