[Letter] March 24,1887,Smith College [to F.H. Giddings]
March 24, 1887, Smith College.
Dear Mr. Giddings,
As we are to have
local talent at next club
meeting how would it do to
have a second short speech
prepared for the occasion?
There are excellent men in
Springfield for the purpose.
Prof. Pillsbury could talk on
the work of the Fish Commission
or something economics-biological.
Other better subjects and men
available men may offer. I
have a funny thing or two to
tell about the Home Culture Clubs
of Mr. Cable.
Yours Very Truly,
J. B. Clark
