[Letter] June 14,1887,Smith College [to F.H. Giddings]

June 14, 1887, Smith College.

Dear Mr. Giddings,
          I am not going
to deny myself the
pleasure of accepting the
kind invitation conveyed
in a former letter
and repeated in your
postal of yesterday, even if
I could not finish my
Worcester paper in season
to come last week. Some
funny things happened at
Worcester which I will
tell you about. I shall
be much occupied till
Commencement, but would
like to have the evening
with you as soon
thereafter as may be
convenient for you. I
will say now that I had
a very good time at
Worcester, though a cup
of strong coffee taken late
kept me awake much
of the night; and I have
been stupid enough today.

   Yours Very Truly,
          J. B. Clark
