[Letter] Oct.20,1887,Smith College [to F.H. Giddings]
Oct. 20, 1887, Smith College.
Dear Mr. Giddings,
I am the Culprit. I
ought to have said aye
to the motion to defer
till Spring. I hope to see
you feeling more rested
whatever becomes of the
articles. I shall take the
2:20 train for Springfield
tomorrow P.M. Don't work
on the paper at all for
the present. Take a good
breath before thinking of it.
I know a great deal
about the ways of nature
in dealing with people
who overwork.
Persistently Yours,
J. B. Clark
