[Letter] March 28,1888,Smith College [to F.H. Giddings]

March 28, 1888, Smith College.

Dear Mr. Giddings,
         I am glad to
hear about the meeting.
I rather want to
inflict on you, in
advance of inflicting on
the public, my 'Capital'
theory. Shall you be at
home late in April?
If not will there be a
day during the latter
part of next week when
you can spare a rather
long evening hour?
It will be in an
unformed state at that
time; the latter part
has gone slowly.
 I think Ginn & Co.
must, as you suggest
have retired. Neither the
Quarterly nor 'Distrib. Process'
appears. I thought of
writing to the effect that
"if by any chance the
book should eventually be
published" I would like a
copy sent to the new Boston review.
(One day - Joseph
Cook) I concluded to wait
and let things take their course.

        Yours Very Truly,
              J. B. Clark
