[Letter] Sept.20,1888,Smith College [to F.H. Giddings]
Sept. 20, 1888, Smith College.
Dear Mr. Giddings,
I am going to
give you in so far as I
can, a rest from
correspondence for a few
weeks. I think of you as
deeply immersed in opening
lecture work, settling house,
etc. It is worth while
to say that there is a
review of [Modem] Dist. Process in
the last Andover Review, by our
friend Bemis. I had not
seen it until a day or two
ago, but doubt not you
have. I sent, last week
with other reviews directed
to Housatonic Mass. a
notice in the London
Academy, and one in the
N.Y. Independent. I
hope these came to hand
safely, as they are
valuable. Don't bother to
reply till you get leisure
unless you failed to get
the reviews. In that
case we had better look
them up. Much pleasure
and success to you.
Yours Very Truly,
J. B. Clark
