Dear Mr. Giddings,
         I congratulate you
on your 'Trust' article in
the Age of Steel. It is
altogether the best of the
list. I have kept your
Proudhon pamphlet a
ridiculous length of time.
I had it in my trunk
at Philadelphia, and now
at last send it to you
with thanks. By the way
Messrs Ginn & Co. asked me
to translate for them,
for advertising purposes
the notice of our book by
Prof. Cohn in the Jahrbücher.
Perhaps it might be well
to transcribe or translate
the notice and send it
either to me or to them.
I am in no haste whatever
for the magazine. I do
not know that they are in
any particular haste for
the notice. I suppose their
desire to advertise the book
should be encouraged.
