Dear Mr. Giddings,
Don't think of
bothering about the
translation of the notice
unless you would like
to keep the copy of the
magazine considerably
longer. I have no use
whatever for it, and
you can perfectly well
retain it as long as you
please. In that case
simply transcribe the
German and let me
translate it. Don't get
any of the Bryn Mawr
men to do it. You
will read German as
well as they do before
very long, and there is
no need of giving away
the fact that you now
feel any weakness in
that direction.
