[Letter] October 28,1890,Smith College [to F.H. Giddings]

October 28, 1890, Smith College.

Dear Friend,
      I send a list of
papers and reports thus far
offered. I suggest that after
you have read my
addition that you may have to
make from the Philadelphia
men you pass it on to
Dr. Ely to be by him
passed around the Exec.
Committee for approval. The
order in which they may come
can be determined afterwards.
I do not see that we have
a show paper for the joint
session. My impulse
would have been to get
Edward Atkinson to give a
paper on the Australian
Title Insurance (Torrens
Act) or some other
subject. I understand he
has withdrawn from the
Council whether he
is out of the Association
or not I do not know.
If you approve suppose we
suggest this is something
equivalent to it - some
other popular man - to Dr. Ely.

       Yours Very Truly,
             J. B. Clark

Shall we admit Bilgram?
If any choking is to be
done it must be by the
Executive Committee.
