[Letter] April 12,1892,Smith College [to F.H. Giddings]
April 12, 1892, Smith College.
Dear Friend,
Thanks for
good wishes. The
appointment is to a
lectureship on Economic
Theory [of Johns Hopkins University], which means
Distribution. I give
twenty five lectures to
graduates.
The book [The Distribution of Wealth] gets
on, but the end does
not seem near. I
like to have the first
draft completed by
about June 1, but
what is a first draft
of comparatively new
matter? I fear there
is a lot of work still
to come.
Shall I not ask
Dr. Tuttle to help us
on the monograph?
It is in his line.
I think I may safely
sound him, at any
rate.
Yours Very Truly,
J. B. Clark
