[Letter] Oct.21,1892,Smith College [to F.H. Giddings]
Oct. 21, 1892, Smith College.
Dear Friend,
Good. I will
open the field, but
not send men on our
our exact trail. I
can never tell them
there are men already
entering on that trail,
while encouraging them
to work in the general
field. The work needs
doing.
I wish I could
come to Bryn Mawr
as often as my strong
inclination and your
kind invitation would
prompt me to do. I
do not mean to lose
a little visit there
before my return. I have
Saturdays and Sundays
free, and can spend
some Sunday or call on
my return as may be
most convenient for you.
I have to visit Lakewood,
to prospect for a winter
home for my mother.
Yours Very Truly,
J. B. Clark
