[Letter] July 15,[1893] [to F.H. Giddings]
July 15, [1893], n. p.
Dear Friend,
I am just
at home after a
trip to Vermont.
By all means let
us have a volume of
your contributions to
theory. If you can
prepare it in a short
time, let sociology simmer.
After the contributions
to theory give us the
magnum opus.
Don't fail to send
a postal telling just
when you come this
way. Thanks for the
note about Mr. Hawley's
reply. He has given
me a chance to be
sharp; but as he has
been very civil I
will not say anything
rasping if I can help
it. I have sent a little
note of reply to the
editors of the Quarterly J. of Ec.
Yours Very Truly,
J. B. Clark
