[Letter] October 7,[1893],[Northampton] [to F.H. Giddings]
October 7, [1893], No[rthampton].
Dear Friend,
I am just off
for Baltimore for
five weeks. Just
getting over a big
cold. Bad voice, but
gaining. Begin
Monday a.m. All's
well.
Did I reply to
your suggestion that
your view of alternative
uses of same goods -
as present goods for cons.,
or for cap. goods -
harmonizes well with
mine about definitive
abandonment of pleasure
involved in creating
capital? It certainly
does thus harmonize.
I am about to begin
a theory of production and
distribution from a new
point of approach. We will
talk it over at some time.
Yours Very Truly,
J. B. Clark
