[S.N. Patten's letter] Nov.23,1888,Philadelphia [to F.H. Giddings]
Nov. 23, 1888, Philadelphia.
My Dear Prof. Giddings,
My thoughts are now on
the Christmas meeting of our A. E. Association.
We are organizing a local committee to receive
them and as you are so near we consider
you one of us. You have attended the meet-
ings and know more than I of what
is best to do and how to do it. I should
like very much to have a talk with you
about the matter. Could you come down
Sunday afternoon or some afternoon in the
forepart of next week? If not let me know
when you will be at home. I shall try to
come out to see you. I hope, however, you
can come Sunday. I shall look for you
then.
Yours sincerely,
Simon N. Patten
