[Letter to Nassau William] Senior
Saturday
Evening
My dear Senior
Will you run your eye
over the enclosed Prospectus.
It is that of a new review,
established by Sir William
Molesworth, whom you know of
and to which most of the
good Movement writers
will be contributors.
You see your old title
has been taken for
want of a better.
I am authorized to
ask whether you would
have any objection to
write for the new review.
I need not say how
valuable your cooperation
would be. Any of the
writers in the old
London Review, who
will join us, will be
most thankfully received.
We have plenty of
writers on politics and
science, but are by no
means so well supplied
with literary articles.
Yours ever
J. S. Mill
P.S. Though the Prospectus
is not generally circulated
yet, it may be shewn
to whomsoever you please.
The hearer will wait
for your MS.
