Lounge
The lounge has a range of domestic and overseas travel guides, books related to job search, sports newspapers, magazines, etc.
Only the books may be checked out.
Please use the newspapers and magazines in the lounge.
Audiovisual Viewing Area
Audiovisual materials such as videos, CDs, LDs, DVDs, etc. may be viewed and foreign-language broadcasts from the BBC and CNN may be watched in this area.
To use this area, please fill in the application form for use and apply at the Circulation Counter on the second floor.
Computers
Computers are available on each floor except the Middle Basement floor.
You will require an ID and password in order to log in to the network. Printers are installed in this place.
Reserved Materials for Classes (may only be checked out by undergraduate students)
"Reserved Materials for Classes" refer to reserved materials that the lecturer in charge of a class wants students to read for that class.
The loan period for reserved materials for classes is seven days.
Books Reviewed in Newspaper
This area has books are appeared in the book-review columns at THE YOMIURI SHINBUN.
Copiers
The library materials may be copied within the scope stipulated by the Copyright Act . For details please see the bulletin board in the library.
Other materials such as personal notebooks may not be photocopied in the library.
Prepaid photocopy cards may be purchased at the vending machine on the second floor.
Group Study Rooms
The group study rooms are available to groups that need to use the library materials for their research and studies.
Reservations may be made up to two weeks in advance.
Please apply at the Circulation Counter on the first floor.
Reading Rooms for Visually Impaired Users
These rooms are for visually impaired users.
Study Cubicles
These cubicles are available to faculty and graduate students for research and studies using the library materials.
Personal computers may be used in cubicle on the first and second floors.
Reservations may be made up to two weeks in advance.
